MAGIC In Music City

Let's go girls! You read that right: MAGIC has landed in Music City for the first time ever and our small (but mighty) Nashville squad hit the pink carpet to get the inside scoop!

MAGIC Nashville ran from Monday, May 16th to Tuesday, May 17th and it was jam-packed with vendors, educational sessions, and Nashville-esq activities!

MAGIC said this show was about “Delivering the experience MAGIC is known for with a Nashville twist, new and influential retailers – from boutique and specialty stores to big box, online, and key regional retailers – explore the latest trends, discover margin-building products, connect with a new community of established and emerging players.”.

MAGIC in Nashville

We showed up bright and early on Monday and sat in on the opening session presented by Kelly Helfman, President of Informa Markets Fashion, and Jordan Rudow, Vice President of Informa Markets Fashion. They dove into budding trends and looks we can expect to see continue into the coming seasons. They discussed everything from silhouette and pattern trends inspired by all of the period pieces (we see you Bridgerton!) to lace and cutouts.

MAGIC Education session

After the session, we hit the floor and bumped into the lovely Trendy Pieces ladies (Hey Gals!)! They were so excited that MAGIC was in their backyard! The floor was buzzing with people everywhere and the booths were packed. We took a raincheck on riding the mechanical bull…but come on, how much more Nashville can you get than a mechanical bull in the middle of MAGIC?! Of course, there were live musicians throughout the day(…DUH…we’re in Music City) while folks walked the floor. @goodgirlbadartist was also there doing personalized fashion sketches of anybody who wanted on in their OOTD’s!

Whiskey Roots Hat Bar at Legends Corner Bar

Once the sun went down, the girls hit Broadway! MAGIC held its opening night party at Legends Corner Bar. Legends Corner Bar stage has been graced by many well-known country music artists such as Darius Rucker, Toby Keith, Luke Bryan, and many more. While live music played, MAGIC-goers mingled and caught up on the day. Some stopped at the Whiskey Roots Custom Hat Bar pop-up at the back of Legends where you could walk away with a customized hat in minutes! Think: hand engraving, stitching, charms to studs, appliques, patches, and pins – no two hats will ever be the same!

We had a blast line dancing and yee-hawin’ with the best of the best. We loved every minute of having MAGIC in Nashville and it added such a fun flair to this event we can’t wait to see y’all in Vegas for the next show!
