Unreliable zipper

Had to order and return twice because the zippers do not stay up (the zipper is in a pretty compromising position). Yes, they are stunning boots and not practical. Regardless I'm going to find another pair on Bedstu because their boots are exceptionally made (I own the Annes and I'm convinced they will last a decade)!

Dessa in Taro Latte

I wore these out of the box and to the airport on a work trip so lots of walking! The leather is soft and the boot is lightweight. The zipper goes nicely down the center of the foot - far enough to not have to struggle to get your foot into the boot, like many others.

I am a posture alignment therapist and look for shoes that have a wide enough toe box in order not to cramp my feet - especially when traveling. I also need comfort and functionality since I am in airports and on planes up to 6x a month. The ankle on one of them was digging in and I discovered it was because one strap was on top of the other and therefore pressing into my ankle. Once I moved it off the ankle bone, it was far more comfortable. I'm usually an 8.5 and a 9 in running shoes. After reading reviews I went with a 9 and it's perfect.

I'd give the comfort of these on a trip out of the box, an 80% score - which is more than what I typically expect for something that is as cute as they are! Besides the ankle situation - they were just fine. That says alot for traveling in a fresh pair of leather boots. While functionality and comfort are at the top of the list due to travel, I want a unique and cool/cute looking shoe to pop - which this does. The photos of the 2 toned taro latte boot don't do it justice. They look great under jeans/corduroys because the purplish blue color peeks out. I do look forward to wearing them with a dress to show them off fully.

I have been in search of the perfect boots to wear for travel that are cute. If you search "cute travel clothing" it is a waste of time from my experience! I've put many to the test and they haven't succeeded. I think I may have finally found the right pair! Just need to figure out how to weather proof them :)

They are beautiful and the leather is top grade! I am glad that I went up the 1/2 size I don’t think I would have been able to zip them otherwise. To sum it up they are perfect and will look great with skinny jeans!!

So pretty, albeit a tad narrow, like most bed stu

There are a hit! Especially the two tone ones. Mine look identical to the main picture! I know Bed Stu can run narrow, but mostly they will give enough to fit. These are definitely on the smaller size of a 10, but an 11 would definitely be too big. I am a very consistent size 41 EU. I love these so much that I will be wearing them with thin socks. The insoles are terrific and they are overall comfortable!
