"Beautiful boots, couldn't get my feet in them. I have 3 other pair of bedstus, all 8 1/2 all fit great out of the box and super comfortable. So disappointing, I really wanted to make them work but even with the thinnest sock, no luck :("

Love the Look, But the Sizing. . .

"I'm a big fan of the BedStu brand and have several pairs of their shoes and boots, all of which consistently fit my usual size 10. When these arrived, I was immediately impressed: they are absolutely beautiful, smell like high-quality leather, and the overall craftsmanship is five-star worthy. Honestly, if they fit, I would give them a perfect rating. However, the sizing on this particular pair is drastically, and I believe, incorrectly off. I could not even get my foot into the size 10 boot I ordered. Since I couldn't wear them, I had my best friend, who is a true size 8. 5, try them on. They fit her well, with enough room for her to wear a nice pair of socks. Based on that comparison, I strongly suspect this size 10 boot is actually closer to a size 9 and has been mislabeled. This massive sizing error is the boot's only, but fatal, flaw. It’s incredibly frustrating to receive a high-quality product that is unusable due to a seller's mistake. If you can somehow confirm your actual size before ordering, these are magnificent boots. But proceed with extreme caution and be prepared for a major discrepancy between the labeled size and the actual fit."

I ordered an 8 1/2, since that is the size of my other BedSTu boots, but they were way too narrow. Do you think ordering a size up to a 9 would make a difference, or would the boot still be too narrow?
A properly fitting leather shoe should feel like a firm handshake on the top of your foot, secure but not painful. Because our footwear is made with genuine leather, it will naturally stretch and mold to your feet over time, especially in the flex points. If the 8.5 felt just too narrow, we would advise sizing up half a size for a more comfortable fit.
