"Own three pairs of the Protege which may be my favorite overall boots and I own many high end boots from various bootmakers. Recently been on a Chelsea kick and the ones I currently have are more of a dress shoe like the AE Liverpool. When I saw these on sale, thought I'd try these and I absolutely love them. Ordered them in Size 12 like the Proteges which fit me perfectly. For context, my Brannock size is 11. 5 and the verge of being an E width and most of my shoes and boots are 11. 5D. My initial thought was I could have fit into an 11. 5 as i felt some heel slippage but that was wearing them with thin socks. When I put them on with a mid-weight sock and then a thick sock, the 12 was the perfect size, no heel slip. The leather is substantial and the Cognac color has a nice reddish hue that really stands out and very versatile. Really love the distress look and the unique style of all Bed-Stu products. May venture out to other styles in the future."

"If you do, you'll end up like me wanting to purchase every boots in the men's collection. Slide you foot into some hot butter I am these things they're like from a different planet of epic bootalogy. I ended up putting another 3 on the ol' credit card post first purchase and arrival. Since then I have been welcomed home with a fresh leather smell as I walk past my closet. I hope Bed Stu kicks out more styles as I am frothing at the mouth. You wanna snap some necks?
