As everyone's feet are different it is very difficult for us to make a 100% accurate size recommendation. The shoe size comparison between brands is similar to the experience of shopping at your favorite retail store for pants. You can find that when you go elsewhere, you’re a different size. That said we will do our best to help guide you in sizing. Each style is hand made therefore we do have a bit of variation from one pair to another. Generally speaking, we overall tend to run true to size as far as length but typically we fit a bit more narrow. If you have ever had an issue with shoes in your typical size feeling too narrow we may recommend a half size larger than your typical shoe size as this will help to increase the width a bit. If you tend to regularly purchase wide-width shoes we may recommend a full size larger than your typical shoe size. 
A well-fitting leather shoe should feel like a firm handshake on the top of the foot without causing any significant pain or pinching. As all of our styles are real leather they will stretch at the flex points of the shoe or boot with time and wear.
