Live in the PNW. Can these be waterproofed? How does that affect the patina?
We do not recommend waterproofing treatments, as our leathers are not designed to be waterproof. Our Revive Leather Cream and Conditioner can help make the leather water-repellent, which is helpful for light rain or snow, but it is not waterproof. Keep in mind that any treatment may darken the leather or affect its appearance and patina, so we recommend testing it first on a small, inconspicuous area.
