Great design but wide calf is unappealing

"What attracted me to the spirit? Was the similarity to flamenco dance cowboy boots that have tassels and similar height heel. I got mine in the dark color and I really love them. Except the fact that the calf is very big and the gap is almost an inch and a half. I think there should be a combination for someone with a large foot but a slim fit. I also saw another product in purple and requested the same boot in purple, and that was also denied. Customer driven co-creation is a real thing in sales and retention and a little more options would go a longer way in my purchase of the brand."

"This is a Strikingly beautiful boot. LOVE!!!!!! The little tassels add so much to their charm. Perfect heel height, and just so lovely in every way. Because of the reviews, I went ahead a sized up a little. I usually wear a 9 in boots, so I got a 9. 5. Right now they’re a wee-bit tight, but I think once I break them in, they’ll be perfect. No one wants loose boots, so I think one half size up is great. They’re just SO PRETTY! I love them completely. YAY!!!"

"My first purchase from bedstu- really pleased with quality, color and craftsmanship. Moderately distressed leather on upper, minimal on foot sections. I was concerned about choosing correct size with online purchase of a new brand and relied on reviews. I am a true 8 and seek a wide toe box. Ordered a 9 and fits well with thick sock. Probably could have went with an 8. 5 as I have a bit of a heel slip. Calf fit was just right for average sized calves. Definitely recommend."

These boots are not only incredibly well-made but also exude a unique charm that makes them stand out. Here are some highlights: Comfort: These boots are exceptionally comfortable. I can wear them all day without any discomfort, which is a huge plus for me. I am 6” so the heel is just right I could not go higher to be comfortable. They needed 0 wearing in fit like a glove ! Design: The design is both stylish and sophisticated and also rugged. They have a certain "sexy" appeal that I feel confident and fashionable in these boots :) Craftsmanship: The attention to detail in the craftsmanship is evident. "I love the look of the boot but very uncomfortable. I had to order twice to get the right size. I ended up sending the 9 back and ordering a 10. Sizes are way off. The left boot is much tighter through the foot part than the left. I can’t send them back at this point but not sure I’ll reorder from this company. I’m hoping the left one will stretch out some with wear and be more comfortable. I’m not sure if this left boot is defective or what. Pretty disappointed."

"I so wanted to love these given I was told they were similar to my beloved Fate boots but sadly not entirely . They are absolutely beautiful and you will get compliments but very uncomfortable…. One boot pinches in on the side where I kept having to “twist” my foot in to try and reposition the “inverted “ area and the other boot just tight in the foot . I have tried wearing them several times now for extended periods thinking it was just a breaking in thing but unfortunately not … my hopes is maybe my pair is a little defective and no one else has this issue Would love to have the Fate style come back !"
