I really love these

"I really love these shoes a lot! I have been on the hunt for years for a pair of shoes that look exactly like these that are reminiscent of a style I used to own from the early 90s. The quality of the shoes is amazing and they will definitely last for the rest of my life. However, I took one star off Because they are very uncomfortable until you can break them in which does take a while. Also, I suggest sizing up a whole size because these shoes are very narrow. I normally wear a 6 1/2 shoe but had to send back my first pair and exchange for a size 7 1/2. For the record I do not have wide feet and have never had to purchase a shoe in the wide size I have very normal width feet."

Made Beautifully---but---

"I found the work on the shoe was superb. However, it runs short. I wear a size 8 in all their boots that I have bought. This shoe I had to send back. They suggested I get the 8. 5. I have not received the new size yet. I will write another review if I need a size 9. It is a beautiful shoe that I truly want to add to my collection."

Lovely shoe but runs short

"Beautiful shoe, but runs at least 1 full size too short. I normally wear 9.5 in BedStu, but in the Rumba both the 9.5 and the 10 were too short. Sadly, a 10.5 is not offered, so I ended up having to return the shoes. The return, exchange and refund process were flawless."

A great addition to my collection

"I am obsessed with all things Bed-Stu and own 90+ pairs (including daughter/sister brands). My love for their oxfords started with Glenda and Planet, both of those styles have a platform lug sole. I owned one pair of Rose oxfords and love them, and recently purchased another pair. When I read the description for the Rumbas, I knew I wanted to add a pair to my growing collection. The soles are flatter and softer than the Rose style. The look is a lot more casual with the distressed leather upper. These pair beautifully with my daily uniform of jeans and T-shirts, even shorts, for a dressier look. I have worn them with chinos and ankle pants, but they need a slimmer straight cut pant, or shorts, to give them the attention they deserve. I felt they got “lost” when I tried them on with bootcut pants (both slacks and jeans), just my opinion. They definitely have the feel of a soft dancing shoe, with a more flexible sole."

Perfection

"This is the second pair I have purchased from bedstu. They run small. I wear a 7 medium in all other shoe brands. I ordered a 7 in my last pair and I was able to get my foot in with hose only, socks were too thick. I kept that pair and they eventually loosened, or maybe just form fitted to my foot. This pair I order a 7.5. They fit like a 7 in other brands. They are very comfortable but did rub a bit on the heal of one foot. They are my favorite pair of shoes and I wear them daily."
