"This is my 2nd bag from BED|STÜ and I LOVE IT!! I’ve been waiting 6 months to get this bag and finally caved (I’m so happy I did!!) Pros: •Durable leather, I got the Tan DD, the color is absolutely beautiful. •The craftsmanship is impeccable!! •3 ways to wear the bag (backpack, crossover, handle). •Extremely roomy, so many various pockets and zipper compartments which is a HUGE plus. No cons…. some may think the stiffness of the leather is a con but in time the leather will soften as it did with my first bag and wallet. Plus I like breaking in a new bag myself. I use to be a Coach purse/shoe lady only…. BUT after getting my first BED|STÜ bag there’s no turning back…. . I’m in love lol Now I just need to order some boots/shoes/sandals and I’ll be set!! I’m definitely hooked for life :)"

"Pros • High quality leather • Convertible - can be worn any number of ways, a major plus • Roomy compartments • Distinctive This bag houses on-the-go essentials, which for me are my BJJ gi (including belt and rash guard) and my laptop, without weighing me down and all the while keeping me looking fly AF. The only downside is the stiffness of the leather and the overall structure can compromise comfortability - which I suspect will ease/evolve over time. Beyond that, this bag is fire."

"What can I say? Socrates is best of all worlds. I'm really a backpack kind of guy, but occasionally appreciate a messenger bag, and occasionally appreciate being able to hand carry my bag. It's difficult - extremely difficult - to find a hybrid bag to fit all purposes. Socrates fits. Socrates can be dressed up or dressed down. I demand a lot from my Every Day Carry, and Socrates so far is doing okay. My EDC also has to function as a mini go bag, and on top of my laptop, iPad, phone and wallet, I keep a stash of go-to items to hold me over in emergencies (I'm really OCD!). Aside from the main pocket, the slip pocket and the hideaway pocket on the rear portion of the bag (which would be up against your back of you wore this bag as backpack), there is no organization, and I like that. I like to choose my own organization method. I will probably go to the Grid storage system, which seems to work best with this bag. I can also see traveling with this bag with an Eagle Creek cube organizer. I got Socrates in black, and it can be dressy. The leather is great and seems it will take a lot of abuse. The straps can be uncomfortable, but I am hoping my break-in period will help soften them. What else can I say? I sold two Tumi bags to buy this; that's a compliment to Socrates."
