Great shoe!

These shoes look great; they bring a little rugged to a polished outfit, which I like. They are a bit difficult to get on (a shoehorn would help) so I thought they were going to be uncomfortable, but they aren't at all. I wore them for the first time for several hours with no pain and no blisters.

It's an Obsession.

This is now my second pair of Rose. I also have 2 pairs of Lita and 2 pairs of sandals. It's officially an obsession. I love the look. i love the quality and the craftsmanship and I swear I get a compliment almost every time i wear them. Of all my "children" Rose is my favorite, it's got just the perfect balance of funk and professional. Both pairs required a very brief break in for me. i literally felt like i could not get my foot in the shoe the first time i bought them. I took them and had the shoemaker stretch them for me. On the second pair, the first wear, I wore them just 2 hrs with socks, the second wear, i wore them all day in work. By wear three, they are mine. highly recommend BedStu, they are my favorite shoes. As for care, i highly recommend shoe trees and proper care and with this, you will have these shoes forever. One pair is over 10 years old and they are great.

Superb quality and ooh the smell

Absolutely beautiful, couldn't be happier, talk about a well built pair of shoes, these will last forever, and please please order your normal size, they're a little snug but they will take shape to your feet perfectly with just a little time, took about 5 days, I'm so glad I didn't order a larger size, but they're not tight enough to be uncomfortable, and the smell of the leather,,, "perfection," 😉 speaking for myself I can't get enough of it, the leather is of the highest quality. Thank you so very much bed Stu and keep up the Great work, if you could make a pair all of the same bone color leather without the different suede leather in the toe area I would order them in a heartbeat ❤️ as well, pretty please.🙏 And yes they're pricey but for the quality and the years that your going to have them for, "PRICELESS" 😘

Beautiful for 2nd try

I had ordered these in my normal size of 8.5/39. They felt about 2 sizes too small. It was horrible. At the same time I received a pair of the Yurisa boots in again, my normal size of 8.5.
Sent the Rose back, and waited for the size 9/40 to get to the house.
The Yurisa boot is tight like a glove, but after wearing around the house for 10-20 minute increments for a few days they have molded to perfection..
Now as the Rose goes. I just received them in size 9. Complete different sizing than the prior Rose and the Yurisa boot.
Fit is perfect out of the box. Not tight at all. Do not have to break in like I did the Yurisa. Either way, I know they are handmade and will go with the flow of the perfect comfort of the Rose in size 9 and the broke in Yurisa in size 8.5
I have slender feet, high arch and followed directions on allowing the leather to naturally stretch. Personally called Customer Service and they were able to help me decide to keep the boot and just do the normal break in period and were amazing in knowledge of how to handle real leather handmade shoes.
Beautiful shoes. Worth the pain of exchanges and stretching.
