While plant-based dyes can be less predictable, that is exactly why we like them. Mixed in our own factory, they help us create rich, dimensional color while allowing the leather’s natural grain and markings to show through.

Every BED|STÜ piece is made with 100% vegetable-tanned leather, our own plant-based dyes, traditional construction techniques, and artisan hands, which means natural marks, color variation, and texture are not flaws.
