Where should the toes land in these shoes? All the way at the end ?
Ideally, you want a small amount of space in front of your toes for comfort while walking. With the woven leather construction, the shoe will naturally relax and mold to your foot over time, so a snug fit is normal initially. However, your toes should not feel cramped or hanging over the edge. Because Lauren II has a square toe and handwoven leather upper, the fit can feel a little different than traditional sandals at first.
I am looking at the Lauren 11 in tan rustic. The pictures show two different colors. One is your tan rustic color (honey colored) and the other is a darker brown. Which shoe would I be buying if I purchased the tan rustic? Thank you!
That is a great question, and I understand how the photos can be a bit confusing. The Tan Rustic finish can vary slightly from pair to pair due to the way our leather is hand-dyed and finished. In general, the current stock of Lauren II Tan Rustic is more of a warm, honey-toned color. However, some pairs may appear a bit darker or more distressed depending on how the leather absorbs the dye and is finished during production. Because of this natural variation, we are not able to guarantee an exact shade match to a specific photo. Each pair is unique, which is part of the character of our handmade process.

If you have a narrow foot we would recommend ordering your typical size. If you have a wide foot we would recommend sizing up.
