Don’t sleep on it!! Get this bag!!

"Big Bedstu fan here! This bag is very large and gorgeous!!! Please make it in a few more colors!! Do the black lux and maybe a Burgundy or green lux! I’d buy all the colors!! However I did pay for 2 day shipping. It arrived late and I called customer service and after what I called a lecture how this will be a one time credit back for the $20 I paid to expedite my order. My problem was how they were make it. It seem like it was not something customary! They are the ones who hired UPS to do a two day shipping…. . and if bed stew contacts UPS, they will get the credit back. This young lady made it seem like they were doing me a favor to credit my two day shipping when it didn’t arrive in two days and they had possession of it. However, I cannot contact UPS to get that shipping fee returned by UPS. Because Bedstu contracted UPS as the shipper they have to make the claim to UPS that’s simple!! This young lady made it seem like she was doing me a favor…… I paid to have the package expedited! The contract is between UPS and Bed Stu. Credit me and contact UPS and get your credit back…. . I can not do it because YOU are the shipper! I did not appreciate the lecture! Train your staff the chain that needs to be followed up on your end please. I thought it was very awkward when I’m paying $500 for a bag!"

Zipper Lacking Otherwise Perfect

"They don’t make a straightforward backpack like this almost anywhere, I have no idea why. I don’t want a sling or a bunch of tassels or some other kitschy, trendy, usually uncomfortable design; I simply want my backpack to be composed of high-quality leather and look classic. Which is why I settled on the Lafe for my latest trip. It’s the perfect weight, and it’s a backpack so it has two straps (because I have two shoulders) so it doesn’t cause any unhealthy leaning or hunching or other torture to the back. The leather is fantastic quality, so it held up to all of the rigors of hiking, city walking, and even looked great as a purse. However, the fact that the large compartment only has one zipper rather than two zippers that can meet at the top or on either side is quite frustrating, especially going through airport security. Having to deal with the hanging open flap and everything that’s inside - holding it all steady - while reaching for the single zipper and bringing it all the way over is just not ideal. I would definitely have added a second zipper. In fact, if this bag had two zippers for the large compartment rather than one, I would purchase more in other colors. Otherwise, it’s *almost* perfect."
