Q&A

I’m wanting to purchase the Aiken crossbody in tan rustic. I was wondering if there was any kind of treatment y’all could put on the purse to prevent dye on blue jeans from transferring to the purse?
All of our products are hand-dyed using natural, non-toxic dyes, and we are very intentional about avoiding harsh chemicals such as formaldehyde, alum, chromium, or synthetic sealants. Instead, we finish our leathers with natural, beeswax-based sealants to help protect and condition the bag. While this finish does provide a level of protection, we are not able to recommend any treatment that would fully prevent dye transfer from items like blue jeans. Because denim is often heavily dyed, some transfer can still occur, especially with friction or darker washes. We always suggest being a bit mindful when pairing with new or dark denim, particularly in the beginning, as dye transfer is most likely at that stage.
