"The shaft of these boots is so soft, just a beautiful boot all around. I am between a regular and wide calf boot. My ankles are small but, my calves are about 16 inches. These fit with the laces completely tightened. I will say if you have a wide foot, these are not for you. I have a wide instep, and these are tight across that area. I don’t have chunky feet so I think these will stretch enough once broken in to be fine. Otherwise, there is very little wiggle room in the toe box."

"I love these boots! Excellent craftsmanship and materials ,for the price these are a steal. I love the rustic tan and the perfectly imperfect worn in look. My calf is approx 18in and these fit great. These were a little tight initially as expected but The fist couple wearings broke them in very fast. These boots speak to my style that I describe as sophisticated hippie. This was my fist Bedstu purchase and I’m looking forward to trying the really beautiful sandals."
