I wore them for short amounts of time and kept towels stuffed into them while in the closet to stretch them a bit and now they’re perfect. Beautiful, soft leather. "First BedStu purchase. Sized up half a size (6. 5 to 7). Wore these in for 3 days in a row 12 hour days to Rockville music festival. I regret not wearing them the 4th day! To break them in I wore some moleskin for my heels they wore in like a charm. No pain. People were stomping on my feet and I was so grateful I had these on. The zip in the back is nice for airflow since it was hot. I have skinny legs (5’6” 104 lbs) and they were not too wide. They held up so well in the pits and were comfortable walking around all day. This is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe collection now. I wore it with summer dresses or shorts and a tank top and I am looking forward to styling for fall/winter."

Beautiful, Quality Boot

"I ordered the teak rustic Glaye boot. I normally wear a 7. 5 (medium width at toes and narrow heel) and have thin calves. I have been reading reviews on this boot for nearly a year and finally pulled the trigger - and am happy I did! I ordered a whole size up to an 8. 5 and it is a perfect fit for me. The foot fits perfectly with a medium-thick sock . The calves to not fit snug, but are not so oversized that it looks like they are swimming around my legs. I have not had an opportunity to wear them out yet, but look forward to it soon!"

I am reading that the boot runs small. I wear an 11. Do I really need to order a 12? Do they go up to that size?
We recommend most customers size up in Glaye for the best fit. However, this shoe currently is not made in size 12. Because our footwear is made with genuine leather, you can expect it to stretch and mold to your feet over time, especially in the flex points.
