9 size, wide foot: perfect

"I’ve had the same bedstu boots for 10 years and wanted to try out this loafer. My feet are wide around the toe box and I’m in love with these shoes. Some things to note: if your foot is slightly warm (sounds gross, I know) you will need to wiggle and shimmy your foot in for the first few wears. Mine were stiff like that but fine once my foot was in. I didn’t want to wear socks so as to stretch it too much. There’s some rubbing around my outside toes but I’m going to give it some wear time and see after a while if I take it to a cobbler to get a little stretched. To help with the wear in process I wore tights the first 2 days and that helped immensely. My foot just slipped in there like a water slide. After that the leather softened and was all good. It’s still a stiff shoe in general with thick leather which I love, and I think it’ll only soften and get better with age and use. Really loving these shoes, was totally worth it."

Beautiful! And they FIT!

"I am thrilled with the Reina (in Black Rustic)! Had my eyes on these for the last 2 years. Glad I got the 8 instead of 7. 5 (I usually run 7/5 or 8). I was skeptical that these would fit me well after purchasing the the BedStu ""Rose"" several years ago, also a loafer style shoe, and discovering that the heals were WAY WAY too wide, causing my heals to slide out of them when walking. I tried to build up the inside of those shoes with cushioning and they were still too wide for me and I could never comfortably wear those shoes so I was quite disappointed with them. But it seems BedStu has finally figured out they need to design the heals of their shoes with narrower heals that hug your ankles so that your heals don't slide out. These are perfect. Reina is very comfortable right out of the box and a pretty, nicely designed shoe."

What are the measurements for 7.5 and 8?

I recently received the Reina in black/teak rustic in size 7. I could barely get my feet in them and they were very tight. I'm hoping to order them in a half size larger. What is your opinion? I own a pair of Bed Stu sandals in size 7 and they fit well.
