Cute but too wide in the ankle and slippery

"Got these and they look gorgeous with a great heel height and leather quality, but I am disappointed with the ankle opening with and how slippery the shoes are. The bottom of the shoe has zero tread so if you are on any tile you will slide. The ankle opening is wider than normal. I could fit my whole hand down the opening. That’s how much room there was and that’s after tightening the buckle. Also, one ankle opening was slightly bigger than the other. For context, my ankles are about 7 1/2 inches around. So maybe if your ankles are a little wider then that might be great. Here’s the thing they do look gorgeous, but if I’m gonna pay 200+ dollars, I would expect some of these quirks to be fixed"

"Very cute boot, but not very comfortable. I am hopefully they will be more comfortable with break in. The heel is too steep for my preference. They seem well built though - as the rest of the BedStu products I have really liked!"

"These boots are beautiful handcrafted. The arch is a little too big but I’m willing to deal with the aftermath of foot pain. I wear a size 7 and they are true to size. If you have wide feet I would reconsider buying them (they are not abnormally narrow) or if you really want them I would get a shoe stretcher. I love Bed Stü brand. My experience with customer service was excellent, and that is that I didn’t buy the shoe directly from the website or store but they honored a replacement because the sandal strap was coming undone. For that reason I will continue to purchase their products."
