GLAYE in Black Lux, a finish inspired years ago by the bakeries in Europe, where we saw the natural tones of the bread peak through the crust. These Lux finishes are made to distress and change with time and wear. GLAYE is a classic riding boot style that features a back shaft zipper that expands for a more comfortable fit, ankle strap with vintage buckle, and red sole with treaded rubber plates.

Our lower heels are made by stacking layers of leather together, one at a time, then shaping and molding them individually. This has been the traditional method of heel construction for centuries, and we believe it is a sign of true quality and craftsmanship. It is now only done in handmade footwear, honoring the craft of the Cobbler.
Our Lux Finish
While window shopping through Europe in 2010, the light sprinkling of flour atop each loaf of artisan bread caught our eye, and inspired our Lux Finish. Just as flour on bread can be dusted off, our Lux finish will continue to patina over time. The color of the leather may fade, creating your own unique product, as defined by your individual wear.
