WHERE IT ALL BEGAN
While visiting Europe one summer, the smell of freshly baked bread wafted through the air and drew us into a small French bakery on the Swiss border. Enamored and inspired by the unique appearance of the light dusting of flour on the freshly baked loaves of artisan bread, we took this inspiration back to our factory and developed our unique Lux finish, which made its debut in 2011. Applied by hand, this crackled finish distresses with wear, making each shoe & bag uniquely yours.

HOW TO STYLE
Take a look at how we have styled our favorite Black Lux pieces.
1.Almost everyone has the pieces in their closet to put together a classic Canadian Tuxedo. While we can all remember wearing this in the ’90s, denim-on-denim has proven to be more than a fast trend, taking a chic turn. Pair your TABITHA ankle boots with your favorite fitted jeans. We love these straight-leg jeans by FRAME because they are made of biodegradable denim (and we love this classic blue wash). We paired them with a thrifted chambray button-down (up-cycling is the best), a neutral hat neutral hat and matching wool coat like this one.
2. As for our BED|STÜ men, we’ve got some top-selling Black Lux styles! LINCOLN is one of our customer favorites because of its comfort and design! We took the monochromatic route for this outfit, pairing LINCOLN with a pallet of olive greens, starting with a teddy jacket, like this one. We went with a tried-and-true Madewell tee for the base layer, finishing this look off with tonal chino pants with a little cuff.
3. Almost any time of year (but definitely when the sun’s out) FONTELLA is our go-to wooden to dress up or dress down! For this warm weather look we grabbed a pair of thrifted denim shorts, an airy blouse similar to this one, and finished off the look with a patterned hemp cardigan!
